Qualifications and experience
Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History, English and Music, and a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) as a psychotherapist. I work to their standards and strict ethical code.
Experience
I have experience as a counsellor with the children's charity Childline, as a psychotherapist in the NHS at Kings College Hospital, and as a counsellor in a community counselling service in Highbury Counselling Service. I currently work in private practice with adults, offering both personal and couples therapy, and supervise the clinical work of doctoral students and qualified psychotherapists. I work with people of all ages, from many different backgrounds and life experiences, who have lived, worked and studied in many different countries.
As well as working in private practice as a psychotherapist and counsellor,
I have worked in business and the public sector in senior publishing and
communication roles.
